Alternatively, you can ask your doctor for advice. All these resources are available at Nutrition Source.

Fruits

Fruits are a staple of any healthy diet, containing a wide range of vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, and antioxidants. These natural sources of nutrition are essential for a healthy diet and reduce the risk of chronic conditions. In addition, fresh fruits are rich sources of water and fiber, which keep the digestive tract clean and reduce weight. A daily serving of fruits can help you get all the vitamins and minerals you need. Some people, however, may have trouble with fruit’s high calorie content.

Lean protein

Many of us consume far too much protein, but lean protein is a healthy alternative. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that we consume 10 to 35 grams of protein per day. In adults, this is around 46 grams for women and 56 grams for men. To keep our protein intake within the recommended range, choose sources with less than 10 grams of fat and 4.5 grams of saturated fat per 100 g of protein, which is about 3.5 ounces of meat or poultry.

Plant-based milk

While there are some drawbacks to plant-based milk, these alternatives are actually quite healthy and can even help you lose weight. Soy milk, for instance, is high in protein compared to cow’s milk and contains isoflavones, a nutrient that has estrogen-like effects. In fact, soy milk is a great choice for women going through menopause, as it has estrogenic properties that reduce cancer risk.

Nuts

A nut is a hard shell that protects an edible seed. It’s made up of a variety of dry seeds, including almonds and walnuts. While the word nut implies that a nutshell does not open to release the seed, the truth is that a wide variety of seeds and nuts fall into this category. Listed below are some benefits of eating nuts. But what about their health risks? Here are three ways to avoid consuming too many nuts.

Tea

According to Douglas Balentine, the nutrition director for Unilever North America, which makes Lipton tea, drinking tea is good for your health. Tea comes from a plant called Camellia sinensis, a warm-weather evergreen. Its leaves are processed differently to produce different teas. There are a variety of health benefits to drinking tea, including improving metabolism, improving skin, and increasing your antioxidant capacity. But which teas are the healthiest? And which one should you drink every day?

Rooibos tea

Rooibos tea has similar benefits to green tea. Its natural sweet taste makes it a great choice for those who don’t want to drink bitter beverages. Unlike many types of tea, Rooibos does not contain tannins and can be brewed for up to 15 minutes. You can also add a little bit of honey if you would like. It will never taste bitter after brewing for so long.
