Entertaiment is anything that provides enjoyment or amusement. The word has become primarily associated with entertainment that is purely for fun, laughter, and lightheartedness, but it also may be used to describe serious works of art, ceremony, or celebration. Entertainment is able to evolve and can be adapted for different scales, from an individual who chooses to watch a movie or television show privately, to a family or group of people who gather to enjoy dinner and entertainment together; to performances intended for thousands of people or even the entire world.
